PN2222 Transistor Introduction
PN2222 NPN transistor is an all-purpose transistor that is best designed for applications that do not put a lot of strain on the part. It is described as an extremely common transistor that is it is used to replace NPN transistors. It is usually employed as a lower signal transistor. It is ideal for TVs as well as consumer electronics, robots, and home appliances.
Today, easybom will introduce the details about it. This article will be divided into below parts: PN2222 Datasheet, PN2222 Pinout, PN2222 Transistor Equivalent, PN2222 vs 2N2222, PN2222 vs S8050, PN2222 vs PN2222A, and so on.

How does PN2222 work?
PN2222 Arduino is a joint NPN bipolar junction transistor, which is utilized for common persistence, less switching circuits, or power intensifying applications. To induce biasing in transistors, we need to apply current to the base pin. The current should be restricted to 5mA. When the transistor is entirely biased, it will allow up to 800mA to move between emitter and collector. This phase is known as Saturation Region and the characteristic voltage allowed crosswise the Collector-Emitter and Base-Emitter may be between 200 and 900mV equivalently. If the base current is removed, the transistor transforms completely off. This phase is known as the Cut-off Region. The Base-Emitter voltage may be around 660mV.

Everything You Need to Know About PN2222 in Electronics
In this article, we’ll get rid of this confusion by comparing PN2222 vs 2N2222, PN2222 vs S8050, and PN2222 vs PN2222A in depth.
What is a PN2222?
The PN2222 is an octave NPN bipolar junction transistor, which is designed for use in typical persistent power intensifying and swapping circuits. It is designed to operate at low to moderate current and squat power. It can also be used for intermediate voltage and is able to activate in a more rapid manner.
What is the gain of a 2N2222?
2N2222A’s gain range is between 110 and 800, this is the measure of the amplifying capacity of the transistor. The maximum current pumped via the collector pin can be 800mA. so we can’t connect devices that consume more than 800mA with this transistor.
PN2222 vs 2N2222
2N2222 transistor is the first one, whereas NPN transistor PN2222 is a new version. 2N2222 is available in a TO-18 metal package. PN2222 is the plastic TO-92 variant of 2N2222. Due to the plastic surrounding the collector, the dissipation of power and temperature rating of storage PN2222 is less than 2N2222.

PN2222 vs S8050
What is an S8050 transistor?
The S8050, an NPN transistor, is suitable for audio amplification circuits, class B amplifiers, and so on. The collector and emitter will remain open while the base remains on the ground and will be closed when the signal is supplied to the base.
