Beas Kund, considered a sacred lake, is located in the Kullu Valley and is a source of the Beas River. Rishi Viyas is believed to have bathed daily in the clear waters of this lake, at an altitude of 3,650 meters, surrounded by Mount Hanuman Tiva and the Seven Sisters. The road to Beas Kund winding through the Solang Valley offers a rejuvenating experience and the journey is full of multiple surprises at every turn. Considered one of the easiest treks in the Himachal Himalayan region, the Beas Kund Trek is a short three-day trek from the popular Manali Hill Station at an altitude of 2,050 meters.

The Beas Kund Trek starts in Manali and continues through Solang Nalaar to Dundi at an altitude of 3,150 meters. The trail is gently uphill from Solang Nalaar and takes about 5-6 hours. From Dundi, the route meanders to Bakarsach at an altitude of 3,300 meters and rises gently over the moraine to Beas Kund.
